On-line lecture by Thomas Harder

On May 11, 2022, students and lecturers from the Department for German and Scandinavian Studies at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski participated in an online lecture with famous Danish author, journalist and translator Thomas Harder. During the lecture, he explained in detail about the work of translators at EU institutions and their role in political and social life. Using a lot of pictures and examples from the everyday work of a free-lance translator, he demonstrated that this is an interesting and dynamic profession.
