From the 14th to the 18th of May, eleven students from the Scandinavian Studies section who study Danish language and culture went on a study trip to Copenhagen accompanied by our Danish lecturer Cathrine Thordal Voss. The program included e.g. visits to the National Gallery of Denmark, Freetown Christiania, the Karen Blixen Museum in Rungstedlund, and a visit with Marta Kirilova at the University of Copenhagen (Department of Nordic Studies and Linguistics). Among other things, Marta Kirilova told the students about different perspectives on Danish as a language, and about Danish as a language as subject at the University of Copenhagen.
