Eleventh edition of the Sofia international literary festival focusing on Nordic literature

From 5 to 10 December, the 11th edition of the Sofia International Literary Festival will take place with a focus on Nordic literature. The event is organised by the Bulgarian Book Association in partnership with the Scandinavian Studies Section at Sofia University “St Kliment Ohridski” and the Hans Christian Andersen Centre for Research and Information. Among the Festival’s guests are the Nordic writers Annette Bjergfeldt (Denmark), Egill Bjarnason and Sigurðardóttir (Iceland), Atle Ness (Norway), Selja Ahava, Tero Mielonen, Maks Seek and Maria Turtschaninoff (Finland) and Ia Genberg (Sweden). Some of them will also visit the Scandinavian Studies Section to meet its students and lecturers. The programme of the event is available here (in Bulgarian).
