Mads Brunsgaard Clausen

Mads Brunsgaard Clausen holds an MA in Scandinavian Languages and Literature and Sports Science from Aarhus University (2022). His master’s thesis dealt with the use of fictionality and its rhetorical qualities in online communication forums and multimodal texts.
He has been teaching Danish, English and Physical Education at a Danish boarding school for three years. He has been teaching spoken and written Danish at Sofia University since 2025.
His academic interests also extend to cinema that seeks to elicit strong responses from viewers, thereby engaging them affectively and corporeally. He has published a feature article on this subject in the Danish film journal 16:9.
