Antonia Gospodinova has been teaching at the Scandinavian Studies Section since 1996 (a full-time lecturer since 2001). She holds a PhD in comparative literature (1999). Graduated from Moscow State University “M. V. Lomonosov” in 1995 and specialized at University of Oslo in 1997 and 1998, and at University of Tromsø, Norway, in 2010. Antonia Gospodinova teaches Norwegian language, History of the Scandinavian literature (Norwegian literature), Norwegian cultural studies, Norwegian folklore. She is also a translator of works by Henrik Ibsen, Tarjei Vesaas, Jostein Gaarder and Kjell Askildsen into Bulgarian.
